BioWho am I and where have I been?? Is this not the eternal question to life, the universe and everything?? No wait, that question involves resturants, wet naps and something about a llamma.
I think that everything you need to know about me can be summed up in this short peice I heard recently on NPR. There was a story on about the purges of communist China back in the 1950's under Chairman Mao. (If you are already lost you might as well move on to the next journal - there will be quite a few obscure political and historical refrences here.) There was a woman who was interviewed for this story. She had been labled a disedent and rightist back then for offering criticiem of the government. This made her life terribly difficult, as well as the lives of her children. Her children could not understand why she had not just recanted what she had said or told the party that she was guilty so that they would let her live in peace. To this she said "I thought about what they were saying and I realized maybe they were right. Things could have been different. I never should have had children."
